Cyril Aouizerate and Urbantech are the founders of Mama Shelter, tourist residential hotels in Paris, Marseille, Lyon and Bordeaux. Cyril Aouizerate was driven by one obsession: the democratization of luxury... After more than seven years of hard work—with NEXITY and the Cardinal Group (both commercial real estate developers), Serge Trigano (son of Gilbert Trigano founder of the "Club Med"), Philippe Starck for the interior design and Chef Alain Senderens for creating gourmet menus—Urbantech was able to open the first Mama Shelter on Rue de Bagnolet in the 20th district, in Paris, offering 172 affordable rooms, a bar, a restaurant, rooftops and its own musical scene... Mama Shelter Paris is located in a historically working class neighborhood in North East Paris. Right across from the hotel, the trendy musical venue "La Flèche d’Or" is housed in an old train station next door to a great media-library center surrounded by city housing projects. Also, the Mama Shelter hotel is conveniently situated above an underground parking with a capacity of 200 cars. Given all that, it was only a matter of months after the opening before Mama Shelter became the focal point of both lifestyle and nightlife in Paris. Since then, Urbantech has opened more Mama Shelter residences: in Marseille, Lyon, Bordeaux, and even in Istanbul (under management contract)…
